  • Use a cutting board and knife to slice the green onions.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Add the cole slaw mix and green onions to the bowl.
  • Give everything a good stir. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes and up to 6 hours prior to serving.

Notes

Hint: Refrigerating the cole slaw prior to serving isn't essential, but it allows the flavors to meld and the dressing to break down the cabbage a bit.
