    Ingredients

    Here's what you need to make Deconstructed Sushi Bowls:

    • imitation crab meat
    • seaweed
    • scallions
    • avocado
    • pickled ginger
    • cucumber
    • rice
    • Spicy Sriracha Mayo

    Instructions

    Here's how to make Deconstructed Sushi Bowls:

    1. Cook the rice according to package directions.

    Crab, chopped seaweed, a bottle of Sriracha Mayo, sliced scallions, diced cucumbers and sliced avocado for Deconstructed Sushi Bowls.

    2. Prep the rest of the ingredients by breaking up the crab, slicing the seaweed, slicing the scallions, dicing the cucumbers and slicing the avocado. To serve, set up a bar with all of the ingredients and let everyone assemble their own bowls.

    Hint: To easily break up the crab, shred it using the paddle attachment on a stand mixer on the stirring speed.

    Substitutions

    Want to substitute one of the ingredients for Deconstructed Sushi Bowls? Here's how:

    • Crab - use diced tofu, cooked shrimp or raw sushi-grade salmon or tuna or a different cooked white fish in place of the crab.
    • Rice - use cauliflower rice in place of the rice.

    Variations
